Recently, Renault released official pictures of the exterior details of its new electric vehicle model, Renault 4. The car is positioned as an electric small SUV and is scheduled to make its debut at the 2024 Paris Motor Show on October 14th.
The Renault 4 can be seen as the production version of the Renault 4Ever Trophy concept car. According to foreign media reports, the Renault 4 is developed based on the “AmpR Small” electric platform (formerly CMF-BEV) of the Renault Nissan Mitsubishi alliance, which shares 70% of its components with the CMF-B fuel platform. Compared to the Renault ZOE, shared components are expected to reduce the manufacturing cost of the Renault 4 by 30%.
