Recently, Ben Baum, Senior Design Director of Ideal Motors, posted a disguised real car image of the brand new pure electric car model on his personal social media. There is also an Ideal MEGA on the left side of the image. It is not difficult to see from the image that the rear design of the new car is exactly the same as the Ideal MEGA.
Based on previous information, this new car adopts a design style similar to MEGA, with a streamlined design from the front to the roof, a large inclination angle, and a through type taillight at the rear. However, the overall design of the car is more compact compared to the MEGA, and the front face is still equipped with the iconic star ring lights.
At present, there is very limited information about the new car, but it can be confirmed that the three pure electric models that Ideal Auto will launch in the future will all be equipped with electric four-wheel drive and 5C charging technology.
The Ideal MEGA is the first pure electric MPV model from Ideal, which was launched on March 1st this year. However, the market performance of the car after its launch did not meet expectations. On April 22nd, Ideal Auto made price adjustments for L7, L8, L9, and MEGA models. According to the sales ranking, in June of this year, the Ideal MEGA sold a total of 589 units, ranking 28th on the MPV model sales chart.
On July 1st, Ideal Auto announced delivery data for June 2024. In June 2024, Ideal Automobile delivered 47774 new cars, a year-on-year increase of 46.7%. 108581 vehicles were delivered in the second quarter of 2024, a year-on-year increase of 25.5%.
In the ideal brand product matrix, the L series products have performed well in sales, except for MEGA which did not meet expectations.
