Kia EV3 officially goes offline

Recently, we learned from Kia Motors that its brand new pure electric SUV, EV3, has officially rolled off the production line at the Guangming EVO factory in South Korea. This factory is Hyundai Motor Group’s first dedicated electric vehicle manufacturing plant and will also produce Kia EV4 in the first half of next year. According to previous reports, the Kia EV3 may be domestically produced by Yueda Kia.

The Kia EV3 is equipped with a floating roof, black roof rack, rear privacy glass, hidden door handles, two-color wheels, transparent taillights, and more. In terms of dimensions, the EV3 measures 4300/1850/1560 millimeters in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2680 millimeters. As a comparison, the BYD Yuan UP with similar positioning in China has a length, width, and height of 4310/1830/1675 millimeters and a wheelbase of 2620 millimeters.

In terms of interior, the Kia EV3 is equipped with an integrated through screen above the center console, with a 5.5-inch dedicated screen for controlling the air conditioning between the instrument panel and the center console screen. The EV3 is equipped with Kia’s latest infotainment system, which supports online navigation/music, car connectivity, etc. In the future, third-party applications such as in car WeChat may be added after domestic production.

Equipped with wireless charging for mobile phones

The Kia EV3 is equipped with driver’s seat heating/ventilation/memory, steering wheel heating, USB Type-C charging port, 180 watt cigarette lighter interface, front wireless phone charging, ambient lighting, Harman Kardon sound system, dual color splicing seats, front movable center armrest, front/rear trunk and other configurations.
