Deep Blue Motors previously announced that its new hardcore SUV will be officially named “G318”. Recently, we learned from Deep Blue Auto that the Deep Blue G318 will be officially released on March 18.
In terms of design, the dark blue G318 adopts the popular “square box” shape. The front of the car has a tough and square outline. It has a C-shaped LED headlight set and a large-area closed front panel. The lower enclosure area has a solid bumper shape. Its body has the unique tough lines of a hard-core SUV. The lower edge of the window at the D-pillar has a clear rising profile. It is matched with a strong shoulder line and anti-scratch wheel arches, which lays the foundation for the visual effect on the side of the car.
In terms of size, the length, width, and height of the dark blue G318 are 4998/1985/1960 mm, and the wheelbase is 2880 mm, which ensures the space inside the car. From a horizontal comparison, its body length and wheelbase are ahead of Leopard 5, Tank 300, and other models. The dark blue G318 is equipped with an external spare tire at the rear, and the tailgate also opens sideways. In terms of expandability, Deep Blue G318 provides a wealth of original expansion parts, including luggage racks, headlights, electric pedals, backpacks, spare tires, etc.
The dark blue G318 rear bumper has a distinctive hard-core shape and can potentially replace equipment later. At the same time, the vehicle will have towing qualifications to meet users’ towing needs. It will also be equipped with an in-situ U-turn function to achieve a very small turning radius by reversing the rear wheels.
In terms of power, Deep Blue G318 will be equipped with super range extension technology, a 1.5T engine as a range extender, and a maximum power of 110 kilowatts. The car will be available in single-motor and dual-motor versions. The maximum power of the drive motor of the single-motor model is 185 kilowatts; the maximum power of the front and rear drive motors of the dual-motor model is 131 kilowatts and 185 kilowatts respectively, and the comprehensive maximum power of the system reaches 316 kilowatts. According to the application information, the new car is expected to provide two battery packs with capacities of 18.99 kWh and 35.07 kWh.
